Cintre Welcomes New CEO ‘ Dr. Claire Mould’.
Date posted: 08/09/2017 | Posted by: Jeannie Richardson

We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Claire Mould as the new Chief Executive of Cintre, this August 2017.

Claire takes over from John Bennett who was previously CEO. John has retired after 4 years with Cintre and an overall 45 year career which saw him hold a number of senior roles.

John implemented our Continuum of Care strategy which promotes an individual’s transition through our services in order to maximise their independence and which has the person at the centre of everything we do. We thank John for his contribution to Cintre and wish him all the best for the future.

Claire brings with her great experience, she was previously the CEO for OPENhouse. OPENhouse is a Gloucestershire based charity that provides housing, education and complex mental health support to homeless young and vulnerable individuals. During her time at OPENhouse she restructured and rebranded the organisation to ensure that in a challenging national economic climate it was in a strong, sustainable position.

This move has enabled her to consolidate the broad skill base, and passion for proactively providing support for individuals who need a bit of help to access the community that she has acquired throughout her career. Claire believes firmly that everyone has the right to function as independently as they have the capacity to do so, and be the person they have the potential to be. It is the role of charities, such as Cintre, to facilitate this transition to a genuine feeling of independence.

Claire recently won the ‘Contribution to the Community Award’, at this year’s Stroud Life Awards.

"My passion for OPENHouse has never diminished and it has been an honour to move the charity to a place where it is ready to move to the new level and I couldn't be more thrilled to move on to another organisation doing great work”. (Dr. Claire Mould, Gloucestershire, Live).
