Cintre HR Manager (Stand-Alone)
Salary: £29,500 - £35,000 (Depending upon Experience)

Role Profile

Do you have 3+ years of generalist HR experience in a stand-alone role? Are you qualified or currently studying for your CIPD? Are you looking to join an organization where you can really make an impact?

If the answer is yes, then we would love to hear from you! We are a local charity with over 40 years’ experience supporting adults with autism, learning difficulties and other mental health conditions in Bristol and the surrounding area.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated Stand Alone HR Manager  who will be responsible for providing both strategic and operational support to senior managers and staff on all HR related issues including recruitment, retention, training, employee relations, talent management, succession planning and engagement.

You will be responsible for continuing the overall development and implementation of the HR function within the Charity. This will mean having the autonomy to shape and develop the HR strategy alongside the CEO, really enhancing the current offering whilst partnering with the senior managers to really understand their challenges and support them with HR initiatives to help them achieve their objectives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s future culture, growth and procedures…. A challenge, but certainly an exciting one!!

This is a hands on role so it’s important that you have the confidence, knowledge and skills to hit the ground running.  You will need to cultivate and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, a proven track record of driving change and improving efficiencies and ideally have broad HR Generalist experience within a similar SME setting.

With ever changing priorities, this is the perfect opportunity for a proactive and adaptable individual who enjoys variety in their working day and is not afraid to get their hands dirty!

CIPD qualifications are desirable, but not a requirement if you have plenty of relevant experience!

To apply for this role you should be a confident, proactive and motivated individual, able to make sound decisions independently when required but enjoy working as part of a professional and dedicated Head Office team.

In addition to the above you should:

  • Have proven HR generalist experience at an operational level
  • Strong, current understanding of employment law and HR practice and their application in the workplace.
  • Ability to coach and advise line managers on a range of HR issues
  • Ability to build effective relationships quickly.
  • Good IT skills including the use of HR systems
  • High level of attention to detail and strong all-round communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable with the ability to work autonomously
  • Be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and ideally CIPD Qualified or have equivalent workplace experience
