Sound Minds: Music for Mental Health
Date posted: 12/04/2018 | Posted by: Cintre

Featuring the Rin Tins

We will be holding our inaugaural Sound Minds event at the Left Bank in Stokes Croft, Bristol from 9pm to 2am on 27th April 2018.

Sound Minds will be an evening of live performance from bands and DJs, celebrating the positive impacts of music on mental health.

Bristol based gypsy swing band the Rin Tins will be headlining. The night will also feature a special guest DJ who will be announced in late April.

Sound Minds will be more than just great fun. It is also supporting a very important cause:

For people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism, music can be both therapeutic and a great route of creative expression.

Many of our service users are interested in playing, mixing and producing music but there is no suitable and accessible space for them to use in Bristol.

To get around this, we have made plans to create our very own studio space for them at one of our properties.

Tickets for Sound Minds will cost £3 and every penny of ticket sales on the night will go directly to Cintre, helping us to reach this goal.
