This May we will be entering a team into the annual Strawberry Lion Challenge. The challenge is a sponsored walk, run or cycle down the Strawberry Line in Somerset, organised by the Yeo Valley Lions Club to raise money for local charities.
We are entering all of three of the available challenge routes (5, 13 and 20 miles) so we can ensure the experience is open to Cintre supporters, staff and service users of all abilities.
You can sponsor our team by donating using the links on this page. If you would prefer to raise sponsorship in cash please call our office on 0117 923 7129 and we will send you a form to use.
50% of sponsorship that we raise will go to Cintre and the other 50% will go to the Lion's nominated charity for this year - Springboard Opportunity Group
Your support is vital and will make a real difference to the activities that we can offer to our service users, and also our plans to develop new activities as part of our community hub.
You can sponsor us online using our Virgin Money campaign page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/cintrestrawberrylions
We already have several members of staff (including our CEO who will be running the longest route!) and a trustee on our team for the challenge:
- Claire will be running the 20 mile route
- Sonia will be running the 5 mile route
- Matt will be walking the 13 (or possibly 20) mile route
- Debbie will be walking the 5 mile route
- Emma will be walking the 20 mile route
- Ali will be cycling the 20 mile route
The team here will be joined by several family members and friends as well!
If you are interested in joining our team on any of the three walking routes contact Matt Winyard: email@example.com
