On 15th May we organised a vegetarian meal at Cintre House for 20 of our staff and service users. This was a celebration to mark Vegetarian Week which took place on 14th-21st May this year, and the cost of the ingredients was kindly funded through a grant from the National Vegetarian Society.
The meal consisted of three fantastic dishes. To start there was a carrot, dukka and grain salad, for the main there was a Thai style vegetable curry, and for dessert there was banana bread and home-made pistachio ice cream! Everyone had a great time at the meal and we hope to organise a similar event again next year.
We were also supported at the event by Ryan a professional chef who volunteered his time to oversee the preparation and cooking of all the dishes.
Here are a few photos from the day:

The final course, Banana Bread for dessert!
The table was set in the garden so there was space for everyone to enjoy the meal.
