At Cintre we are an adult support charity, who specialise in Autism, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and conditions which challenge. This June 2017 we are expanding with a third service!
We have finished developing ‘IN-VIA’, a new supported living service set on the site of a large former family home. This brand new fully refurbished accommodation is Cintre’s latest investment in providing light touch support to adults across South Gloucestershire and Bristol areas.
We started in 1980 with just residential care, later progressing to outreach support in 2005, now celebrating in 2017 this huge expansion. The third service will allow Cintre to reach out further to helping those in need of a more independent life and to continue with the flexible care they need.
Neil Baker, Cintre’s Partnership and Development manager comments “I am privileged to have been involved with this project from the start and am thrilled to see the doors of this new service now open to people who face various issues in their lives.
Beneficiaries of this service will include adults in Bristol and South Gloucestershire who wish to live with other like-minded individuals where they will be able to live comfortably, securely and safely in an environment that offers light touch support to learn the skills that enable them to achieve their dreams of living independently".
IN-VIA will be officially opened by the new chair of The South Gloucestershire Council, “Councillor Blair”, Noon 15th June 2017.
