Last night our Community Based Service Manager and the Marketing & Fundraising Officer attended Ujima Radio of Bristol. The idea put together recently at an event in Colstan Hall by the Radio presenter Asher was to help spread the word about Cintre and our 40th year celebrations next year.
Cintre’s New Deputy CEO networks with Owner Henry from The Caldron Restaurant Bristol. Henry gave his time to support the Service Users Celebration event here at the Greenway centre in Southmead. Supporting the event with his culinary skills was a great way to help the other Cintre staff who also gave their time up to cook. Cintre wish to thank Henry and Scott and all the other members that made the day special.
Follow our new garden project at out supported living house in Southmead. We will update you when we change the garden.
Our new sensory garden has been supported by our own service users, Staff, and volunteers from team Leidos. Thanks also to A P Waters building contactors of Pontypool South Wales for their help also at short notice.
Earlier this month, Cintre’s cooking group got together for a little celebration and appreciation of all the progress that has been made over the past few months. Food is a wonderful thing and we are delighted to have a group that encourages greater independence and creativity in the kitchen, as well as promoting good nutrition.
You can now support Cintre through Amazon every time you make a purchase!
Support Cintre via AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile works in exactly the same way as regular Amazon – nothing changes for you. Your shopping experience and prices stay the same. The only difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, Amazon sends us a small donation every time you place an order.
Do you remember the Henleaze Christmas Festival back in December? Well, we have some great news – the raffle was a total success and raised a very impressive amount of money for the five chosen charities (Cintre, Bristol Older People’s Forum, The Southmead Project, Caring in Bristol, Stroke Association).
