Today Is an Important day. Today is Mental Health Day. Please spare a thought for others that face difficult challenges in life that are associated by Mental Health Issues. At Cintre we support adults that have a varying range of Complex Mental Health Needs. If you would like to learn how you could help by volunteering or becoming a full-time member of our team please contact HR at head office. We would love to hear from you.
On Saturday some of our Service users and staff travelled to the NDAC in Chepstow to cheer on and support Jack Hunt of Team Leidos who had decided to raise money for Cintre.
Supported by the small group, his family and friends he ascended in a small cage high above the Dive Centre’s quarry to a staggering height of 400ft. It was here Jack took his leap of faith from the small caged platform and raised the money. With pledge and donation totals Yet unknown it is expected to be a considerable amount of money.
Cintre would like to say a very big heartfelt thank you to Jack. From myself i look forward to getting involved in some exciting and possibly crazy ideas with Jack in 2020. “Bring It ON”
Next year we will be looking to complete some bigger projects in order to help raise our target figure of £40,000. The National Three peaks Challenge will be just one of the bigger events/projects that we look to complete.
This afternoon Team Leidos and Team Cintre will have their first meeting to discuss the joint partnership for the project. Follow us on our social media channels to find out more and how you also could get involved in our 40th year birthday celebrations.
