Earlfield Lodge
Retirement community based in Weston-super-Mare

Cintre took over management of Earlfield Lodge in January 2020, building on its expertise managing assisted living and residential care for adults with complex mental health, and community support.

Stephanie Critchley, Earlfield Lodge’s Registered Manager, explains the ethos: “Earlfield Lodge is very much a residential home not a nursing home, it is a community. It is a really lovely retirement community: more like a hotel than a retirement home. Residents can take meals in their rooms if they wish, or order a sandwich at 3am if they feel peckish.

“Our residents are often very independent and like to get involved in projects such as the gardening committee, or to take bus trips to local towns to go shopping or to see friends. We’re just a short walk from Weston Woods and the sea front with the Grand pier and bustling shopping opportunities.”

Residents can relax and enjoy their surroundings, socialise with other people or take part in a game of pool, watch a film, enjoy the garden or do some gardening.

Earlfield Lodge offers respite care and ongoing accommodation for people of retirement age and we can cater for people with dementia.
