  • Danny’s background is a sporting one having played Basketball at the highest level and spent 30 years employed within basketball and sport. As a player, coach and then Director Danny has worked with many people who have required support to achieve goals or to open doors they thought may not be an option. The environments for this have, at times, been very challenging but the joy of starting and seeing someone’s journey despite challenges was always very rewarding. In 2018 Danny made a complete career change moving to Cintre, Danny wanted to continue to be able to support people in challenging circumstances and environments, and hopefully succeed further in changing lives.

Cintre’s Continuum of Care has been of great importance in Danny’s current role and previous roles within the charity, supporting people to have a voice, choice and opportunity are extremely important. Working with various agencies, families, and stakeholders to support service users on their journeys to independent living (no matter how that journey turns out) is a highlight of the job.
